The association members meet bi-monthly at the Indoor Bowls Center on Station Road Long Eaton for an informal get together to discuss future visits and share information, guest speakers, quizzes, raffles are part of these events. We also arrange walks locally and visits to other places of interest. Please turn up at one of the meetings we are a friendly and welcoming bunch of people. If you wish to contact the secretary please do so, before your proposed visit and we can arrange some one to meet you before the meeting.
We arrange visits to our twin towns in annual rotation 2009 Romorantin, 2010 Langen then 2011 Long Eaton.
These visits are around the end of May beginning of June each year we are hosted by families and we host French or German families, some families have been doing this for years and have made many new friends over that time exchanging visits on and individual family basis in between official exchange trips.
Membership Is £10.00 per person per year, £1 per year for students.
The executive committee meets on a regular basis to consider future programme of events locally and to arrange details of visits to and from our twinning partners.
